Eductors use a unique venturi design which enables smaller pumps to circulate large volumes of tank solution with less energy. The eductor can circulate four or five gallons of solution for each gallon pumped. They are ideal for suspending solids and "sweeping" debris of sludge towards the filter pump intake.

SBS utilizies Eductors to rapidly sweeping the bottom of the tank to move solid debris towards the pump's suction.  This allows the debris to be entrained in the fluid and able to be removed by an SBS Sludgebuster or Tower Scour.

Rules of Thumb:

• 1 Eductor for every 6 square feet (may vary with different debris/fluids)
• 21 GPM per Eductor
• 3 feet throwing distance
• Assume throw area of 2 feet wide by 3 feet long
