SBS has been manufacturing equipment for liquid process control since 1974.  Our filtering products are:
Smart Filter- A self-contained, skid mounted industrial liquid filter.  Typical application are filtering quenchants and machining coolant. In quench oil applications in a heat treat, may be supplied with our revolutionary Aqua Sense for water detection or our De-Acid Module for lowering the total acid number (TAN).  Learn more about filtering here.
Sludgebuster-A unique product for removing large quantities of debris without the use of a filter.  Typical applications are removing scale or foundry sand from quenchants or removing swarf from machining coolant.  Learn more here.
Tower Scour-A filtererless filter for removing 50 micron or larger solid particles from a fluid stream.  Perfect application is dirt removal from a cooling tower's water stream.  Learn more here.Hot Oil Smart Filter-Hot Oil Circulation heaters require additional design considerations to assure continuous leak-free operation. Any system operating continuously above 275°F should be piped using flanged connections.
Smart filter De-Acid Module-An SBS Smart Filter De-Acid Module is a self-contained liquid de-acid system incorporating a dedicated pump, cartridge housing, and controls all on a pre-piped, pre-wired skid.  Our De-Acid module is installed downstream of the SBS Smart Filter (which acts as a pre-filter, preferably at 25 micron or better). Only 1 GPM is taken from the clean oil stream and run across two Actived Alumina (AA) cartridges.
